EmiControls water mist turbines protect wood processing company Witholz

The company Witholz GmbH, 79777 Ühlingen-Birkendorf supplies the wood processing industry and the timber construction trade in Germany and Switzerland.

To secure the supply chains of its long-standing customers, the management has invested in innovative fire extinguishing technology from EmiControls. From now on, water mist turbines protect the halls of the production plant. The fire-fighting turbines are automatically aligned and activated by the signal from the connected early fire detection system from Orglmeister Infrarotsysteme. The entire fire protection system was recently inspected by a testing expert in accordance with the VDS guidelines and accepted without any objections.

Managing director Matthias Böhler deliberately decided in favour of EmiControls' water mist turbines and against a conventional sprinkler system for his wood processing plant. During commissioning, he was extremely satisfied with the implementation of the project.

Other leading companies in the wood supply industry have already shown interest and are considering installing EmiControls' insurance approved extinguishing system to safeguard their operations.
