Extinguishing system for Ecoplast Kunststoffrecycling GmbH in Wildon (Austria)

Ecoplast Kunststoffrecycling GmbH is a subsidiary of Borealis AG. At its plant in Wildon, post-consumer plastics are processed into high-quality LDPE recyclates. To protect their storage areas, the Austrian company has chosen the innovative FT10e fire-fighting turbines from EmiControls and installed a total of two in the outdoor area.

The fire-fighting turbines are a further development of traditional extinguishers, as in addition to the extinguishing jet, they can also throw larger quantities of water mist over a long distance and can thus moisten and cool the source of the fire very well.

The fire protection system was accepted by the Austrian testing agency and the responsible offices without any objections.
