Handover of 20 AirCore TAF to Saudi Electricity Company

We are excited to announce the successful delivery and handover of 20 Magirus AirCore TAF Firefighting Robots to the Saudi Electricity Company, marking a significant milestone in our shared mission to enhance fire safety and emergency response in critical infrastructure across the Kingdom. This deployment is a vital step forward in advancing fire protection technology and improving the response capabilities of fire safety teams in high-risk environments.

Comprehensive Training Session for Seamless Integration

To ensure the firefighting robots are effectively integrated into operations, we conducted an extensive operational training session in collaboration with REDA Hazard Control. Our expert, Dominik Cantonati, was on-site to guide the responsible personnel through the  deployment process, ensuring they were equipped with the knowledge and confidence to operate the robots efficiently.

The training session was carefully designed to focus on several key aspects of firefighting robotics:

• Remote Control Operation: Personnel learned how to operate the robots from a safe distance, ensuring they could effectively navigate and control the units in dynamic, emergency scenarios.

• Maneuvering in Challenging Environments: The robots’ ability to operate in difficult terrains and hazardous environments was a central focus of the training. Teams were shown how to maneuver the robots in complex, high-risk situations to maximize their performance and minimize risk.

• Optimizing Watermist Deployment for Fire Suppression: Participants were trained in the effective use of the robot's watermist technology, ensuring that fire suppression was both efficient and impactful during emergency operations.

Practical Exercises and Knowledge Transfer

The training program included live demonstrations and hands-on exercises, providing personnel with the opportunity to test and explore the full range of the robots' capabilities. This practical experience was vital in ensuring that each team member was fully prepared to deploy the robots in real-world firefighting scenarios. By actively testing the robots, the team gained valuable insights into maximizing their functionality and effectiveness in emergency situations.
