Korn Recycling GmbH: Focusing on the environment

Korn is a specialised waste management company headquartered in Albstadt, Germany, where it operates one of the most modern commercial waste sorting and substitute fuel processing plants in Europe. Korn's core competence is the disposal of waste for industrial, commercial and retail companies, as well as for private households.

As the company attaches great importance to the environment and minimising emissions, it decided to install a fully automated dust binding system. The two open areas near the waste wood handling area and the mineral processing area were equipped with two V12s dust binding turbines. Both are controlled and activated via the CURT system and additionally monitored using a weather station. Three H2 pumps were also installed at this location in the hall at the infeed and discharge points.
